AKG P220 Condenser Mic - Deluxe Bundle with Boom Arm & More

The AKG Black Project Studio P220 is a Large-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone that is perfect for various miking applications such as lead vocals, acoustic guitar, and brass instruments. It features a 1" true condenser capsule and has a cardioid polar pattern. This pattern helps in focusing audio capture in front of the microphone, effectively reducing unwanted ambient sound from the sides and back.

To further enhance its versatility, the P220 comes with a low-cut filter at 300 Hz. This filter allows you to cut unwanted low frequencies from your sources. Additionally, it has a selectable -20 dB pad, which enables the microphone to handle sound pressure levels (SPL) up to 155 dB. This means you can confidently place the microphone in front of a variety of sound sources without worrying about distortion.

The P220 includes a spider shockmount and an aluminum carry case. These accessories help in isolating the microphone from handling noise and provide convenient storage and transportation options.

The bundle includes the Samson MBA38 Microphone Boom Arm, which offers maximum flexibility in mic placement with its 38" horizontal/vertical arm reach. The XPIX Microphone Pop Screen is also included in the bundle. This effective studio tool helps in reducing explosive consonants like 'p' and 'b', as well as controlling unwanted breath noise.
